Congresses

The research conducted at ICMUB meets the criteria of innovation and scientific quality required for our unit to be considered a major player in its various fields of expertise. This is reflected, of course, in our scientific output, but also in our participation in congresses, which provide an opportunity to bring together the research community in a given field to exchange information, ideas and scientific advances.

CONGRESSES AND EVENTS in 2024 and 2025

GECOM-CONCOORD 2025
19 au 23 Mai 2025

The GECOM-CONCOORD congress was born of the merger in 1993 of the “Study Group in Organometallic Chemistry (GECOM)” and the “Concertation in Coordination Chemistry (CONCOORD)” group. It is an annual congress, whose venue and organizing committee change each year, bringing together the scientific community interested in coordination chemistry.

The Thermo Fischer Scientific Inuvion Days are designed to bring together experienced and new users of ion chromatography to discover the Inuvion system and talk to Thermo Fischer specialists. This event is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the Inuvion system and to discover the latest developments in ion chromatography (IC).

1st Åsgard Horizon French-Norwegian Inorganic and Materials Chemistry Symposium

The first Franco-Norwegian Åsgard Horizon Symposium on Inorganic and Materials Chemistry (FN-ICMC1) was launched in Dijon in May 2024, following a grant from the French Institute of Norway as part of the Åsgard Horizon exchange program. The aim was to create an annual discussion forum on materials and coordination chemistry for junior and senior researchers from both countries with a view to facilitating existing and future collaborative projects and implementing them within the framework of bilateral programs, including the Åsgard and Åsgard Research Plus programs, the Hubert Curien Aurora exchange program (PHC), and the international collaborative projects of the Research Council of Norway and the CNRS. FN-ICMC1 brought together some 50 participants at the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin, Le Village by CA, Dijon, France.
