Organization and governing bodies

Governing bodies

The Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de l’Université de Bourgogne has been headed by Prof. Jean-Cyrille HIERSO, assisted by Dr. Alain LALANDE since January 1st, 2024, .

The institute has set up a Management Committee (CoDIR) and a Laboratory Council, and has set up a number of specific operating bodies: an External Scientific Council (SAB), an Information Systems Security Council (SSI), and delegates dedicated to specific missions.

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB)

The SAB’s role will be to provide an outside view of the unit’s operations and its strategic and scientific orientations and choices. The SAB is composed of six members :

  • François OZANAM (Scientific delegate, CNRS Chimie)
  • Michaël GAUTHIER (Femto ST – UMR CNRS 6174, Besançon)
  • Louis FENSTERBANK (Sorbonne Université -Institut Parisien de Chimie Moléculaire UMR 823 – Paris)
  • Florent CACHIN (Imagerie Moléculaire et Stratégies Théranostiques (IMoST) – UMR 1240, INSERM, UCA Clermont-Ferrand)
  • Dominique BONNET (Laboratoire de d’Innovation Thérapeutique UMR 7200 CNRS – Université de Strasbourg)
  • Cyrille CONSTENTIN (Département de Chimie Moléculaire DCM – UMR CNRS 5250 – Université Grenoble Alpes)

Additional elements of governance

Security and Information Systems Committee (CSSI)

Due to its high research potential, the protection of ICMUB’s scientific and technical assets is of strategic importance. Classified as Restricted Regime Zone (ZRR), Information Systems Security (ISS) is an essential component for the protection of its human resources, scientific tools and data. An SSI committee has been set up to assess the relevance of implementing specific measures, thanks to its in-depth knowledge of the high-level threats most frequently encountered in research laboratories.

Health & Safety

Our high-risk activities require extreme vigilance in terms of health and safety (H&S). Risk prevention requires regular information and training of our personnel. Training on H&S rules in French or English is given to all new employees, whatever their status or mission (12 to 15 training sessions per year).

The Unit’s prevention assistants (APs)

Quentin BONNIN, IR CNRS
Cécile DÉSINGLE, TCH UBE
