Risks and prevention in the Chemical Laboratory
Our high-risk activities require extreme vigilance in terms of health and safety (H&S). Risk prevention involves regular information and training for staff. Training on H&S rules in French or English is given to all new recruits to the unit, regardless of their status or duties (12 to 15 training sessions per year).
The Unit’s prevention assistants (APs) :
Didier Poinsot, IE CNRS
Quentin Bonnin, IR CNRS
Cécile Desingle (TCH UB)
Syntheses presenting a particular risk are grouped together on a site with reinforced security: the CECUB (Cellule d’Essais Catalytiques de l’UB). This laboratory provides the infrastructure, equipment and specific protection required for carrying out experiments under pressure or using flammable and/or toxic gases.
Risk prevention includes the information and training of regular staff.
