The « Réseau Jeune de la Société Chimique de France de la région Bourgogne-Franche Comté (RJ-SCF BFC) » is composed of volunteers, students and young researchers below 35 yo. Its actions revolve around animations, dissemination, and communication events related to chemistry and addressed to students, starting from high school all the way up to university. In this context, we take part in events such as the “Olympiades de la Chimie (BFC)”, “Journée de l’école Doctorale (Carnot Pasteur)“ which is a PhD students conference, and other events and forums aimed at helping the students meet with professionals from the university and from the regional industry, all in collaboration with France Chimie and the Université Bourgogne Europe. Some actions can be aimed at a larger public, for example with the past organization of Pint of Science evenings in Besançon and Belfort. You can find more information on the official website of the SCF-BFC:
If you are a student or young research (< 35 yo) and you are interested in joining us to organize and participate in chemistry-related events and animations, or if you wish to have more information, please feel free to join the SCF (online, free for students) and to contact us: bureau-rj-bfc@societechimiquedefrance.org
*The SCF is a non-profit french association of public interest, created in 1857, for the support, information, promotion, and representation of chemical sciences.
